Today the English Club did a “Word Association” activity on the whiteboard.  They started with the word “environment” (環境) and then connected words that are all related to that word.  It is a great activity for thinking of and making connections with vocabulary and spelling.

活動目標

The English Club is open to all junior high and high school students.  It is a chance for you to use English in a natural and comfortable environment.  We enjoy various boardgames that help you improve your English, as well as English-only movies, TV shows and activities / discussions in English.

It is a great opportunity for you to USE your English.  Mistakes are normal and important.  Learn by doing.

From 2018, English Club is in the new "English Lab".  At English Club, you are able to enjoy fun and interesting activities, movies/TVs from overseas, and help with school work all in English.

There are not many chances to hear natural English in our daily lives.  However, the English Club can provide that opportunity.  Each week is different.  We sometimes play games, do word puzzles, watch a program, or just have a conversation in English.  This is always in a relaxed and fun environment with no fear of making mistakes and no tests at the end.  

It is very important that you always do your best to communicate in English.  If you do not try, your English will not improve.
